Jenness Park Christian Camp, owned and operated by California Southern Baptist Convention, has been dedicated to meeting the spiritual needs of campers for more than 50 years. The camp provides everything needed to escape the stresses of ones routine and enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors – God’s creation. With a staff committed to servant leadership and an opportunity to breathe fresh mountain air, those who visit will leave re-energized spiritually, emotionally and physically.

Perched in the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Sonora, Jenness Park is committed to reaching the lost, equipping believers and restoring His servants. Several camps/retreats are planned and conducted by the Jenness Park staff each year for adults, teens and children. The summer months are packed with camps specifically geared for children and youth. However, churches and other related groups can rent camp facilities for their own programming opportunities.

At Jenness Park, God is changing lives for Kingdom growth. As hands are raised high in genuine worship and the Word of God is proclaimed from the chapel, lives are being renewed in the Lord. As campers explore nature and gaze at the stars in the night sky, God is whispering that He is the Creator of all things. And, as the bell rings it echoes throughout the camp that another has confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
