A Premiere Christian Camp and Retreat Center, Jumonville is a special place with much to offer. It is best known for its white “Cross of Christ” which stands 60’ high on the mountaintop. Hiking up to Dunbar’s Knob to see the cross and the breathtaking view is an inspiring highlight for most everyone who visits.

Jumonville exists to share the Christian faith with all who come. The dedicated staff and volunteers operate a summer camping program that is well known for its variety and quality. Children, youth and adults may come for a week of recreation, inspiration, and adventure for a very reasonable rate. In addition, some scholarship help is available.

Camp has always been a great way for young people to make new friends, grow in self-confidence, and experience the best fun of the summer! Adventure camps offer rock climbing, caving, biking, mountainboards, canoeing, or whitewater rafting. Sports camps include specialties in soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball, golf, tennis, fishing, or swimming, with opportunities to enjoy many different sports during the week. Creative arts programs focus on music, art, dance, clowning, drama, or advanced crafts such as stained glass, photography, or handmade jewelry. Specialty camps include: Camp Samplers, Games Extravaganza, mini camps (for those under 10 who are beginner campers), and even Mommy(or Daddy) and Me camp (for 3 –7 year olds) to enjoy 3 days of fun and special memories at camp with a parent or grandparent. Don’t forget the timeless camp activities of singing, campfires, hikes to the Cross, Bible study, crafts, swimming, worship, free time, and getting an ice cream cone at the Snack Shop! There’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Lodging options range from luxury private rooms to family-style lodges and dormitory style cabins with private baths. Dining facilities for up to 350 are available, with a variety of meeting and recreational facilities included. Three challenge ropes courses, and an indoor Adventure Center serve their most popular programs for rock climbing and individual initiatives. Not only is it challenging and fun, the Jumonville Adventure Program is an outstanding tool for building teamwork, self-confidence and personal growth in life-changing ways.

At the end of an exciting day, there’s nothing like sitting by the campfire, looking up at the stars, and seeing the awesome sight of The Great Cross shining into the night. It is a landmark that has touched the hearts of people from around the world. Whether you are looking for inspiration, training, or adventure, Jumonville has something to offer. Discover the treasure in your own backyard at Jumonville!
