Kamp Kile’s World is our signature program and fulfills the core mission of this non-profit organization, Kile’s World Foundation. On March 29, 2013, Tameka Raymond launched Kile’s World Foundation, a non-profit 501c3 organization in memory of Kile Ishmael Glover, her son who passed away at the age of 11 in a tragic boating accident on Lake Lanier in July 2012. Since Kile’s passing, Tameka has re-dedicated her life’s work and efforts on a mission to keep his memory alive and allow his spirit to do amazing work through her and the Kile’s World Foundation.
Kile was a prodigy who loved, created and exercised many forms of art. He acted in stage productions; wrote, produced and performed music and he was a budding visual artist. He enjoyed painting abstract art; designing CD covers for his own music and took a serious interest in photography. Kile’s passion for the arts became the inspiration for the mission and purpose of the foundation.
