KidsEyeTM Summer Filmmaking Camp
Now Accepting Applications

KidsEyeTM Summer Filmmaking Camp was created by the RI International Film Festival (RIIFF) 11 years ago in order to give a voice to youth filmmakers and provide them with the skills and tools necessary to bring their creative ideas to the silver screen. KidsEyeTM Summer Filmmaking Camp will be held at the University of Rhode Island from July 6-10, 2009 from 9am-3pm each day. Open to ages 8-16. No prior experience needed.

KidsEyeTM Summer Filmmaking Camp is a fun and exciting day-camp for youth ages 8-16.  The week-long camp offers kids a chance to work alongside professional filmmakers to write, shoot, and star in their own original films.  Campers will learn screenwriting, storyboarding, production, and editing.  Camp registration is $345 which includes a DVD of the finished films and an official KidsEye t-shirt.  Sign up now and allow your young filmmaker to express themselves through film and gain a better understanding of how their favorite movies are made.

Films made at KidsEye will premiere at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in August along with films created by young people from all over Rhode Island.
