KCLC Summer Camp 2010
June 21st through August 27th
Monday through Friday
7am-6pm (Extended hours included at no additional charge)
For children going into 1st through 9th grade
Activities are based on weekly themes. Each week will also include swimming at Creston Pool (optional), Thursday Field Trips, Clubs, gardening, cooking, walking field trips, art and craft projects
Pre K: 2 week program will be offered this year for the first time ever. Check out our summer camp guide for details.
Teens: We will continue to provide teens and pre teens with leadershipand community service opportunities through our Teen Leadership Cooperative program.

3. Eew That's Gross - slime factory, KCLC Fear Factor, science exploratorium, zombie day, weird foods, OMSI
4. Stellar Voyage - space, astronomy, OMSI planetarium, star maps, rocket building and launching, spaceship construction, Oaks Park
5. KCLC vs. Wild - overnight campout at Silver Falls State Park, survival skills, navigation, hiking, camp cooking, skits, group games, campfire
6. Do It Yourself - invent, build, draw...it's up to you! we provide the supplies...kids create! field trip to OMSI
7. Once Upon a Time - fantasy, storytelling, magic, Enchanted Forest, wizardry, Bigfoot Museum
8. Expedition - trekking, hiking, exploring Portland and beyond, choose your own adventure!
9. Olympics - sports (basketball, gymnastics, tennis, soccer and more), history of the Olympics, bowling, skating, relays, KCLC Olympics
10. Survivorkids - Campout out at Nehalem Bay State Park. Relax, enjoy the beach!
