Southshore Community Centre and several wilderness areas are the setting for this community group's day camp. Kids from ages 10 to 17 are invited to attend this camp to learn how to paddle a canoe or kayak, and how to prepare for wilderness trips. Several skills are taught and practiced in an open air, fun setting with youth instructors. There are Basic, to Advanced, to Adventurer camps available to choose from. See the web site for details.
