L'Envol is located 100kms south of Paris in a wonderful chateaux. The castle and grounds have been adapted to accommodate children with special needs. The campers come from French speaking countries around the world, and attend camp for nine days at a time. They participate in adventure based programming while at the camp. The camp was set up to give these children a normal camp experience. Some of the campers have returned for years, essentially growing up on the camp. They get to fish, canoe, climb trees, ride horses, mountainbike, do drama, play drums, make a tv show, etc. All in all, its about having fun with kids.
