Located on a 68-acre site bordering beautiful Lake Kalmbach approximately 7 miles off the Parks Highway.   The rolling terrain, along with large spruce trees, make LaVerne Griffin Youth Recreation Camp a beautiful place to have fun with friends and loved ones while leaving behind daily business that can take over our lives. Come and experience God's Presence.

We offer 12 heated cabins with  92 spaces available for use, a bathhouse, and a commercial kitchen with dining facilities, two conference rooms and a game room all winterized for year-round use. Summertime campers may use the eight new cabins with a capacity of 48 beds or six summer cabins with a capacity of 36 beds encircling a picnic area with grill and electricity. There are also 11 RV spots with electric, water and a dump station.

We have a playground for our little campers, and for the older campers we offer canoeing, archery, swimming, softball, basketball, softball, paddleboats, volleyball, and many trails for hiking or cross country skiing, sledding, and skating. Fishing is also available for groups at our camp.
