Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival Camp
Summer Address:

Join professional actors from The Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival and Nevada Shakespeare Company for a fun and exciting journey into the world and works of William Shakespeare. These one week sessions will take an intensive look at acting and Shakespeare using A Midsummer Night’s Dream for rehearsal and performance. Students will explore the history and language of Shakespeare, building a character, voice & acting techniques for stage, acting for camera, and what it means to be a part of an ensemble.
Through the use of fun and interactive activities including acting games, discussions, script analysis, and scene work, the students will work towards a culminating performance of scenes both on our beautiful Sand Harbor stage and short scenes on film.
