Launch Math Achievement Centers
"Launch Math Achievement Centers offer exciting and educational one-week summer camps on the Upper West Side of Manhattan for kids ages 6 to 12 years old. Children at Launch's exciting specialty summer camps build advanced robots, launch high-flying rockets, design video games, create visual animations, tinker with electronics – and that is just the very beginning! All campers get to keep their projects so that the fun continues at home!
Launch Summer Camps also offer children the opportunity to stretch their legs and enjoy the outdoors. Half of each day is spent in Central Park where campers engage in science-based activities designed for the outdoors, play sports, take part in organized adventures such as scavenger hunts, and relax while eating lunch. We even find time for field trips to places such as the Hayden Planetarium at the American Museum of Natural History!
Launch Summer Camp Key Facts:
• Two completely separate camps each week of the summer
• One camp for 6-8 year olds and one for 9-12 year olds
• About ten kids per camp (3-4 campers per counselor)
• Summer Camp is based at our center on 81st and Amsterdam Ave
• 9:00 AM drop-off, 3:30 PM pick-up (late pick-up available)"
