Paris Residence (15-18 years): Each week students will enjoy a full program of cultural activities and excursions as well as sports and leisure activities, both on campus and off. Full-day excursions to places of interest in and around Paris take place every Wednesday and Sunday and every Saturday is a day reserved for sports or leisure activities including on-campus swimming or soccer and shopping or sightseeing in Paris. Evenings include a variety of on and off campus activities including cinema, a disco, talent night, etc. Other students come from all over Europe. Paris Homestay (17+ years): This independent program for mature teens offers 20 or 30 lessons per week with many students opting for 20 lessons with an aim to balance serious study with the chance to explore the city with new friends from all over the world. Classes are a blend of listening, speaking, grammar, vocabulary-building, and role plays. In as little as 2 weeks you will have the chance to forge new friendships and make some significant progress in your French studies... provided of course you speak French as much as possible! Activities vary, with many excursions focussed on cultural activities. Popular after school visits include: Rodin Museum, Picasso Museum, Catacombes, and more (entrance fees not included). The school also organizes many weekend excursions out of Paris to places like Reims et Epernay, Loire chateaux, Le Mont Saint-Michel and many other places Nice (15-17 years): The aim of the Nice Residence/ Homestay program for teens is to spark your interest in learning French and to deepen any prior knowledge you may already have. To achieve this goal, the atmosphere at the course centre and in the classroom is youthful and dynamic, with subjects and teaching methods that are age-appropriate and truly motivating. Particular emphasis is put on developing communication fluency and self-confidence. The various areas of language study, such as reading, writing, speaking and listening are all covered and grammar is studied in such a way that you learn without feeling that you are studying in a formal manner. Intensive lessons comprise of an additional 10 lessons per week, totaling 70 hours.
Montpellier (13-18 years): The program offers an ideal mix of French lessons and French culture, including exposure to cuisine, history and art as well as fashion and cinema. It also offers the unique opportunity to meet and make friends with students from all over Europe, Latin America and Asia, making this a very popular program for students who are looking for a truly international experience. Depending on how intensive you want to make your studies, you can choose from 15 or 20 lessons per week with both options offering sports and cultural activities as well as full and half-day excursions to a variety of places of interest such as Nimes, Avignon and Sete.
