- Chinese traditional arts learning including Chinese painting, Er Hu (2-string fiddle), Martial arts, Paper-cutting, Tie-dye.

- Probing today's China to get know of its rapid development and new challenges through activities, factory tours, city walks etc.
- Understanding the livings of Chinese in different ages and classes from talks, home visits, shopping experiences etc.
- One-day visit to Children charity Villages to give some hands, understand their lives, and learn from these children who never gave up in spite of their family misfortunes.
- Eye-opening tours to historical and cultural sites of China ancient capitals: Beijing, Xi'an, Luoyang, Zhengzhou.
Meanwhile, the 3 camps differ in program lengths and extent language and arts classes, and each was designed with its own focus:
-- Language & Arts Camp (ages 8 to 20):
More focus on studies: 40 intensive hours of Chinese language study, and more hours (8 hours) on learning skill of Chinese painting or Er Hu of your interest so as to grasp the basic skill for performance. More Chinese Kung-Fu classes than the other two programs. At graduation ceremony, the students will give Chinese Skits and learn Arts Performance Shows to conclude their study experiences!
-- Volunteer & Culture Camp (ages 14+ ):
A participant will provide one-week community services in SOS Children's Village and in Sun Village, both non-governmental charitable organizations for providing foster care and education for the children who had unfortunate family experiences. Students will also learn Chinese language (15 hours) and traditional arts classes.
-- China Insight Camp (ages 8 to 20):
This is a 2-week short program for student who doesn't have 3-week bandwidth or prefer easy touch on language study. The program is more balanced among study, travel and
experiences. Therefore, there are less hours of Chinese classes (15 hours) and the traditional arts classes are for hands-on experiences and fun time.
Overall, the goals of our China programs are to foster students' interest and motivation in Chinese language and culture, inspire students to develop their own insights about China that might impact their future, build personal growth and self-confidence for life-time benefit.
