The summer camps are targeted to kids between the age of 7-12 and runs from 10-2 every day for a week. The camp costs $199 for the week but you will receive a 10% discount if you sign up before May 15^th. The classes are structured around the idea of developing important life skills while practicing martial arts and playing physical games. The life skills I try to develop are discipline, focus, teamwork, self-control and confidence. The martial arts range from kicks and punches to throwing, grappling and stick work. I always explain that martial arts are meant for the mat and not for the street. We will talk about how to use words and body language to avoid fights, as opposed to using fists and feet. The summer camp takes place July 23-27.
