Discover the draw of Mad Science in the summer at our downtown location. Mad Science engages children in scientific explorations that are so much fun children will forget they're learning! Campers can team up with fellow "engineers" to build a bridge, participate in an unforgettable dinosaur dig, build and launch a model rocket, explore the science behind their favourite sports. The selection of activities will make your head spin! All campers will receive a Mad Science T-shirt as well as daily take-homes which can include slime, planes, roto-copters, periscopes, telescopes, cotton candy, drag cars, reaction tubes, and more.

HALIFAX:
Camps will be held at Kingsview Academy at 6199 Chebucto Road. Camp hours are 9am-3:30pm. Extended hours (8am-4:30pm) are also available.

Prices: General Hours: $175/week
Extended Hours: $30/week or $8/day extra
Cancellation/Change/Refund Policy: Cancellations or changes are permitted 30 days or more prior to camp. Refunds subject to a $25 per session service fee. Any returned checks (NSF) will be charged an additional $20.
Rockin' Rockets -
Experiment with pressure and take home a Mad Science Skyhawk airplane! Learn about where colour comes from and experiment with light and lasers. Make a perfect replica of your own finger to take home! And at the end of the week, watch a rocket launch that will let your mind soar!

Survey the wonderful world of science! View the world through a camera obscura you make yourself! See what an owl eats! Work with your fellow Junior Engineers to build bridges, domes, cubes, and pyramids! Make a colourful Mad Science bouncy ball and try out the Mad Science hovercraft! |
