MAINE OUTDOOR SCHOOL

Resident Private. June-August 1-week programs; ages 15-17; Tuition $695 per week; 20 students per session.

 

Designed for youth looking for adventure and skills in the outdoors, who may wish to work in the outdoors, learn outdoor philosophy, learn canoeing or just wish to increase their outdoor knowledge. In the Standard Course you will learn sheltering, fire building, plant and wildlife identification, awareness skills, tracking, canoeing, survival, clothing selection, overnight canoe trips, map/compass, receive first aid & CPR training, learn primitive skills, how to fish and much more, not to mention the friendship and leadership. Our facilities include trips and outdoor classrooms. Lodging in bunkhouses, tents or self-made shelters. Come spend a week in the Maine Woods with registered Maine guides.
