Marrowstone Summer Music is a two week residential orchestra and chamber music program for students ages 13 23 and interns ages 18 - 25, for all orchestral instruments (including piano and harp).  Marrowstone is conducted from July 23 August 6 in picturesque Bellingham, WA at the Western Washington University campus.  Students rehearse daily to prepare for a series of concerts each weekend, and are taught by top professional musicians from major symphony orchestras in North America.  Organized recreational activities are presented twice a day.  The high level of music making, beautiful scenery and life long friendships that develop here keep students coming back year after year.  Marrowstone is presented by the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestras, one of the largest youth symphony organizations in the nation.

Early application deadline: March 1, 2006

Leadership positions for college students and grads are available.  Financial aid and wirk-study positions are available for all students.
