Waltham, Massachusetts, United StatesMasspike Volleyball Camp provides a fun, yet intense volleyball training environment for players of all levels; beginner to elite. Our goal is to challenge each player to reach the next highest playing level and give players the knowledge necessary to continue improving their performance after camp. Masspike is a commuter camp for both girls and boys. We offer the following session types:
General Skills Camp. This session is perfect for players of all levels; beginners to elite. Players are placed on a court appropriate for their skill level and experience. Develop your overall game by training all individual skills; serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking and digging, along with team concepts and a small amount of position work.
Position Camp. Hitters, setters and back row players will train intensely on their individual positions' skill requirements, focusing on technique, court positioning, transition movement for their position, and competitive strategies.
Competition Camp. This session will combine individual skill work, position training, group drills and various competition formats at the end of each session. 2 seasons of high school and/or club volleyball is required for this session. Players may attend this camp as a team or come as individuals.
