We have a chinese proverb we model here at Misty Hollow Adventures, it goes: "Tell me and I will forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I will understand." Every person has extraordinary things inside them and sometimes it takes out of the ordinary experiences to find them.
Not only do you get to have fun experiencing some of the greatest outdoor achievements (kayaking, rock climbing, white water rafting, animal adventures, mountain biking, hiking);you get to make life long friendships, and learn things you can take with you forever. You will build your own shelter, take scavenger hikes, practice wilderness skills, and do team building exercises that will boost your leadership and team work skills. No, it's not just about learning and doing, but having fun too! If you like fun, we have ATV trails, Paint Ball Tournaments, Swimming, and GeoTracking just to name a few. It's hard to fit it all in to just one week.

Extreme Explorers (ages 9-14) will spend 1 week doing camp activities at their level, stay overnights at Base Camp Misty Hollow with some day trips and an overnight in the Beautiful Sipsey Wilderness.

Extreme Adventurers (ages 12-16) will spend 1 week doing camp activities, some nights will be at Base Camp Misty Hollow some on over night adventure trips. Survival skills will be taught, wilderness rescue, and a white water rafting trip (if skill eval. passed) will be included.

Mini Camp (ages 7-13) 4 day/3night camp designed for the 1st time camper or young adventurer wanting a well rounded camp experience. No field trips;all activities are at Base Camp Misty Hollow.
Rate: $329.00 2009 Dates: Mini 1 July 5-8; Mini 2 August 2-5; Mini 3(avail if full 1&2) July 8-11
Growin' Together Camp (child 10 & under w/parent) 3day/2nights designed for the 1st time camper & parents who would like to give camp a try. All adventures will be at Base Camp Misty Hollow, waterfall hikes, clay finds, climbing intro, and more.

Endurance Expeditions Camp (ages 14-17) 12day/11nights on unforgettable expeditions across Alabama and Tennessee. Multi-day multi-activity trips focusing on experiential education, fun, relationships within your team, and building strong leaders through challenging the mind, body, and soul. Absolutely a memorable camp experience. Practice survival skills, wilderness rescues, foraging, orienteering, and more.
