Mount Marty College Summer Camps
The Mount Marty Summer Camps include three different camps for students to choose from. Camps include a Debate Camp, Graphic Design camp, and Theatre camp.
The Mount Marty Debate Camp curriculum is designed for high school students (grades 9-12) of every experience level from novice to varsity. The camp offers Lincoln-Douglas Debate, public forum, and oral interpretation. The camp is designed to help the camper practice and perfect their craft.
The Mount Marty Graphic Design Camp curriculum is designed for high school students of every experience level. Over the course of the week, students will work in small teams to create advertising for preint, television, and the Internet. At the end of the week, they will be able to take these images home to become part of their personal portfolios.
The Mount Marty Theatre Camp curriculum is designed for high school students of every experience level. Participants will serve as company members for the week, spending time daily in rehearsal as well as doing crew work in the technical areas. The week long experience will culminate in an actualized production performed for famiy and friends!
All three camps are held on Mount Marty College's beautiful campus in Yankton, South Dakota, overlooking the Missouri River near Lewis and Clark Lake. Campers stay overnight in the Residence Hall and events are held campus-wide. All campers are given a laptop computer to use during the camp. Mount Marty College is a wireless campus making research on the Internet easy and accessible. Research resources and opportunities are also available in the library.

Camp fees:
- $405 - Early Bird (by July 1)
- $455 - After July 1
The camp fees include the camp program, lodging, most meals, a camp t-shirt, and evening activities. Students are asked to bring money for two meals off campus.
Note: A $75 non-refundable deposit is required for registration. This deposit is credited toward the camp fee.
Camp Schedule (July 22-28):
- Sunday, July 22 - 5:00pm Check-in
- Monday - Friday includes Value Resolution Analysis, a Case Writing Lab, Debates, LD Theory Topics, a Resolution Analysis Tournament, Research and Idea Sharing, Individual Case Work, Individual Conferences, Food, and Fun!
- Saturday, July 28 - 8:00am LD Mini-Tournament (Families and coaches are welcome to attend!) 1:15pm Final Round of Tournament
