MusicGarage.Org summer camps are open to intermediate and advanced musical youth who want to meet like-minded kids to rehearse and perform in a band. Rock and jazz camps run from 12 - 5 pm Monday - Friday in five 45-minute blocks: 12:00 pm - Rehearsal 1:00 pm - Showmanship/Stagecraft - Audio & Recording Basics - Band Values - Music Business 2:00 pm - Rehearsal & Staff Jam 3:00 pm - Vocal/Instrument Coaching - "Speed Learning" - Musicianship - Music & The Law 4:00 pm - Rehearsal On each Friday, musicians stay for a sound check, dinner and performance at 7 p.m. The camp cost is $300 with a $50 discount if enrolled before May 1, 2011. Musicians can enroll in multiple summer camps or combine the camps with MusicGarage's regular once-weekly summer session for additional savings.
