Musical Mania is designed to allow every child to freely express ideas and become an active participant in the creation of an original musical. The musical produced at the end of the five-day session is written and performed entirely by the children. A few sample titles from previous productions include: Ninjas of the Wild West, Cool Cats of the Amazon, and Insectopia. The program provides opportunities for children to participate in group music workshops, drama, set design, movement, and costume creation. Musical Mania is open to children ages 7 –12 with an interest in learning new skills relating to music, art, and drama. Enthusiasm and a positive attitude are also a must!
