NPAC Funtastic Art Camp
Summer Address:

An educational art experience for your child at the North Port Art Center. Each week: there will be projects that teach basic art concepts and skills through fun activities. Repeated projects include: Paper Mache, Clay, Collage, Cloth art and lots of drawing and painting. With a curricular based on fine art. Each day: (9am-1pm) will have 2 major (1 ½ hr) projects with a lunch break at 11am. Students will bring home creations daily. Some lessons may take 2 days, some may take place outside. Some lessons may require something from home, like a found object or a show and tell. Always wear clothes for painting. Every day, students will learn about a famous artist, a technique, or a new art term. Be sure to ask them what they have learned!
The North Port Art Center is a not-for-profit organization that strives to bring art to the community. We are excited about our second "Fun"tastic Art Camp and look forward to bringing art into your child’s world!
