NYSMF provides its students with an intense, exciting, challenging, and fun environment for young musicians ages 10-25. Our programs literally offer something for everyone, led by our tremendously accomplished faculty: - Bands, orchestras, and choirs are available for traditional music camp buffs - An outstanding chamber music program - Spectacular jazz ensembles and combos - Advanced Composition Workshops - One of the world's only Classical Saxophone Institutes - The International Flute Institute (by audition only!) - The Original Musical Theatre program NYSMF also offers free masterclasses with over a dozen legendary professional musicians every summer, drawing masters from the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Boston Symphony, the Vienna Philharmonic, and many, many other top orchestras around the world.
