Nike and US Sports Camps are proud to once again bring you the Nike Softball Camps sponsored by USA Softball and the Amateur Softball Association.
Nike Softball Camps are owned and operated by US Sports Camps, operators of the highest quality sports camps in America since 1975, hosting over 50,000 young athletes at its 500 camps last summer. US Sports Camps combines with Nike, the #1 name in sports and fitness and USA/ASA Softball to offer the Nike Softball Camps sponsored by USA Softball.
The Amateur Softball Association, founded in 1933, is the National Governing Body of softball in the United States and a member of the United States Olympic Committee. The ASA has become one of the nation's largest sports organizations and now sanctions competition in every state through a network of 89 local associations. The ASA has grown from a few hundred teams in the early days to over 240,000 teams and 40,000 umpires today, representing a membership of more than three million.
USA Softball is the brand created, operated and owned by the ASA that links the USA Men’s, Women’s, Junior Boys’ and Junior Girls’ National Team programs together. USA Softball is responsible for training, equipping and promoting these four National Teams to compete in international and domestic competitions.
More than any year past, this will be an outstanding opportunity for any softball player who wants to make a commitment toward improving her skills while possibly looking to make a spot on the national team.
All campers will have the opportunity to play softball each day, work hard, improve, make new friends, and have fun. Campers are encouraged to develop new skills and achieve a new level of play and self confidence. Every facet of the game of softball is covered - including hitting, fielding, baserunning, and team play.
