Oasis Adventure Academy at Camp Eagle
Summer Address:

Oasis Adventure Academy is a new and innovative boarding camp designed for children with dyslexia. We are excited to offer the only summer camping experience in Texas where students with learning differences can participate in an outdoor adventure camp while continuing their academic progress with Certified Academic Language Therapists
We seek to combine the best of both worlds, academic progress with outdoor adventure activities. Each student receives four hours of instruction daily by Academic Language Therapists in the following areas: Orton-Gillingham Phonics Instruction, Fluency and Comprehension, Grammar and Written Expression, Keyboarding and Study Skills for Science.
The academic subjects are interspersed with adventure activities to provide students with a variety of classroom and outdoor activities. These activities include rock climbing, canoeing, kayaking, zip line, hiking, swimming and fishing.
The Academy is located at Camp Eagle, about 35 miles from Rocksprings and 70 miles west of Kerrville. Our unique setting on 1,400 acres of beautiful Texas Hill Country provides children with the best of both worlds for a summer adventure with lasting dividends.
