Whether a student is an aspiring opera singer, a dedicated theater enthusiast, or just starting out, OperaDelaware Summer Camp will enhance the student’s abilities and help them become a well-rounded performer. Sessions are led by energetic and experienced theater professionals who wish to develop the natural talent within each participant. Students also have the unique opportunity to audition for OperaDelaware’s mainstage productions that include a children’s chorus.

Summer Option One

Monday 7/12 – Friday 7/23
9am – 4:30pm
$500 for 2 weeks

In addition to a production of Disney’s Aladdin Jr., the session will include workshops that complement the production. Students will audition on the first day of the session, and will receive a schedule of training workshops and rehearsal sessions based on their particular skill level and part in the show. Morning and aftercare is available. A public performance of Disney’s Aladdin Jr. will be offered on Friday, July 23 at 7 pm.


Summer Option Two

Tuesday 7/6 – Friday 7/9
9am – 3pm
$200 for 1 week

This 1-week session will focus on performance and technical skills. The session will culminate with a showcase for parents on Friday afternoon, July 9th. Morning and aftercare is available.
