Operation Jumpstart
Summer Address:

Operation Jumpstart is an exciting new opportunity for rising high school seniors who are interested in science, mathematics, engineering or technology. Operation Jumpstart is a one-week summer program offered by the College of Engineering at Ohio Northern University.
Qualified and enthusiastic ONU professors teach classes and supervise team projects that range from Electronics and Programming to Physics and CAD design. Whatever your science and technology interests are, you will learn, explore and have fun at Operation Jumpstart.
Operation Jumpstarts purpose is to give students an opportunity to benefit from a week in the life of a busy college student. An environment of interest-driven learning and lectures, hands-on projects and activities will lead to a valuable educational experience. A small student-to-professor ratio ensures that every student is included and all questions get answered.
There will be plenty of time outside of class to enjoy many of the University facilities such as the gymnasium, swimming pool and tennis courts. Activities are supervised by engineering student counselors, each of which will be assigned to a small group of students.
Operation Jumpstart is a place where students with common interests can come together to learn from and interact with professors and student counselors. Backed up by Ohio Northern Universitys strong academic standards and values, we strive to make this exciting opportunity as rewarding, enjoyable and safe as possible.
