Film:

Passport NYC's Film specialty is your ticket inside New York's film world. You'll meet writers, directors and actors—today and tomorrow's rising stars—as you learn to bring your vision to life on screen. New York City is the ultimate character actor. It makes a statement and gives meaning in films as polar as I Am Legend to Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist. It's also the creative catalyst for thousands of screenwriters, directors, cinematographers and actors.

Fashion:

From Michael Kors to J.Crew, New York City is home to the world's top design icons, the hottest emerging talent and the best fashion schools in the world. At Passport NYC, you'll delve deep into the New York fashion scene with access to the magazine editors, fashion designers, photographers, educators, stylists and retailers who decide what's in and what's out.

Musical Theater:

With personalized training in voice, acting, movement, improv skills, scene work and dance styles, you'll be involved in a learning-and-doing process that lets you integrate your creative abilities while inspiring confidence through self-expression. At Passport NYC, participants in our Culinary Arts specialty are totally immersed in New York's colorful food scene—doing, learning and being part of the big city's culinary mix. Passport NYC will get you inside New York's best kitchens, letting you cook with master chefs while you sample the ethnic rainbow of flavors that make New York a food mecca.

Music Industry: 

Need to rock your summer? Or what about, jazz, hip hop, classical or R&B? You'll get the perfect mix of creating, writing, performing and learning with workshops that 360 around the music industry.  Passport NYC's music specialty, created in partnership with The Clive Davis Department of Recorded Music at Tisch School of the Arts, is your all-access pass to the city's top music educators, producers and artists—the geniuses behind the tracks, hooks and sounds that get you to listen up.

Passport NYC offers two three-week sessions. The dates and program cost is below:

First Session: July 1, 2012 - July 22, 2012

Second Session: July 29, 2012 - August 19, 2012

Program cost: $4,500 includes room, board (3 meals a day), transportation throughout NYC, all program expenses. Does not include transportation to or from New York.
