The Spiritual Experience The wilderness is a powerful place to meet God. It exposes us to our own frailty and forces us to decide where we place our ultimate trust. In Mountain Bible School, we look at God's plan for creation with a wide-angle lens, seeing the entire Bible as an epic story with God as the protagonist. From the beginning of time, God's purposes are being accomplished leading up to a triumphal victory that has been guaranteed to us by Jesus' death and resurrection. Each day will include prayer, Biblical instruction, times to share our own stories, and moments for solitude and reflection. Whitewater Rafting (conditions permitting) Lunch Back country Orientation & trailhead Hike in Outdoor Training Activity: Leave No Trace Campfire, worship & testimonials Day 2 - Spiritual Focus: The Fall 7:00 Wake up Call Breakfast and chores Hiking Lunch and Devotions Outdoor Training Activity: Compass and Orientation Campfire & Bible Talk Day 3 - Spiritual Focus: OT Overview as a Background for Redemption Wake up Call Breakfast and chores More Hiking Lunch and Devotions Outdoor Training Activity: Rock Scrambling Campfire & Bible Talk Day 4 - Spiritual Focus: NT Overview, Jesus and Redemption Wake up Call Breakfast and chores Shorter Hike Lunch & Devotions Outdoor Activity: Solitude Campfire & Bible Talk Day 5 - Spiritual Focus: Future Kingdom: Last two Chapters of Revelation Wake up Call Breakfast and chores Hiking Lunch & Devotions Share Experiences with each other Hike Out to Trail head Drive Back to Drop-off location
