Penn Engineering: Summer Academy in Applied Science and Technology

The School of Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania offers a unique opportunity for a selective group of highly motivated and talented high school students to experience rigorous and challenging college-level coursework. The Academy’s intensive, three-week programs combine sophisticated theory with hands-on practical experience in cutting edge technologies. Designed to provide exceptional math and science students the opportunity to explore the field of Engineering before applying to college, participants of the SAAST program enroll in one of five offered courses - Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, Robotics, Computer Science and Computer Graphics. SAAST is situated on Penn's historic campus right in the heart of the Philadelphia; students can take advantage of the vast array of activities and resources available to the Penn community.
