Petit Galop at Granny Fox Farm
Granny Fox Farm is a working horse farm located at the end of a quiet country lane just 1 hour from New York City. With 78 acres, 26 stalls, a 200'x200' riding ring, Olympic size indoor arena, miles of trails and even a bunkhouse and tipi attached to the stable, there's plenty of space to roam and lots of opportunity for adventure.
Our programs are designed for the young rider who is ready to experience both the joy and responsibility of having her own horse. Each camper is assigned a horse or pony of her own to ride, care for and love for the duration of her stay. Because of our small size the riding program can be individually tailored to each rider's specific area of interest; whether her riding goals are to compete in horse shows or to simply enjoy a leisurely trail ride through the countryside.
Our goal is to instill a sense of accomplishment and responsibility while having fun! Each camper is sure to make great new friends, build confidence, measurably improve her riding skills and gain a deeper respect and love for horses and nature.
