Phantom Lake YMCA Camp, established in 1896, provides youth ages 7–17 traditional summer camp experiences in a Resident and Day Camp setting. Parents call it "A genuine 'camp' experience." Nestled on 72 acres of rolling hills on Phantom Lake in southeastern Wisconsin, campers have many activities to choose from in a safe and nurturing environment and are encouraged to grow physically, mentally, spiritually and socially. Some of the activities include sailing, swimming, crafts, paddle sports, small trips, theater, dance, nature, target sports, the zip line, geocaching, and disc golf! Other programs this year are golf, soccer and a skateboard specialty. Children will live in a screened in cabin with canvas and screen sides with children from the same age group, a counselors and an assistant counselor. Children stay for a week and leave with new friendships and a renewed sense of the outdoors and beliefs. Traditional camps like these are a healthy part of a children’s life.
