10 WEEKS OF FUN!
Pine Jog will be offering a full summer program for children who have completed grades Pre-K to 5th.
Campers will experience a balance of environmental education, arts, culture, sports and outdoor fun!
Each week will have a different environmental theme and activities will include field trips, nature study, guest speakers, art, recreation, and much more!
Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Breakfast, Lunch and Snack provided.

REGISTRATION DETAILS:
$25 registration fee per child required
Cost if you register before April 15, 2011:
$135 – per week/per child/ if attending more than one week
$175- if attending ONE WEEK ONLY
Cost if you register after April 15th, 2011
$155 – per week/per child/ if attending more than one week
$195- if attending ONE WEEK ONLY

Week 1 (June 6 - June 10)
THE 3 R’s FOR KIDS: Campers have fun by going green through the 3 R’s: Reduce – Reuse – Recycle through hands–on environmental creative activities.
Week 2 (June 13- June 17)
EACH LITTLE DROP: Campers will explore watery fun environments! Children will learn about water resources, different ways to conserve water, and water safety.
Week 3 (June 20 - June 24)
THE POWER OF CHILDREN: Children will learn that energy makes everything go, through fun interactive activities, take-home projects, games, and crafts. They will become excited with the power they have to make big changes.
Week 4 (June 27 - July 1)
UNDER THE SEA : Campers will enjoy a mixture of fun outdoors-activities all focused on life in our oceans!
Week 5 (July 5 - July 8) WHO LIVES HERE?: Children will experience a variety of activities focusing on getting to know some of the animals that live at Pine Jog as well as their special adaptations.
Week 6 (July 11 to July 15)
TINY BUT MIGHTY!: Campers will explore the attractive world of insects and the important roles these creatures play in our lives!
Week 7 ( July 18 - July 29) LET’S PLAY SURVIVOR: Campers learn about how Native Americans used the environment to survive by depending upon the plants and animals. Children will also explore skills for camping in the great outdoors!
Week 8 ( July 25 - July 29) Health, Wellness and Cooking:From gardening, nutrition, cooking and fitness activities, campers learn how to make healthy lifestyle choices.
Week 9 (August 1 - August 5) ENJOYING DIFFERENCES: Campers will celebrate diversity as the spice of life through songs, dance, food, and other cultural activities.
Week 10 ( August 8 - August 12) GREEN WRAP UP: A week of fun review of all the big ideas learned throughout the summer camp experience!
