The Camp

Pripstein's Camp Mishmar is a traditional, co-ed residential children's summer camp situated in St. Adolphe d'Howard in the beautiful Laurentian mountains, about 60 miles north of Montreal, Canada. The camp was founded 68 years ago & boasts unique & exciting facilities and a warm, cozy atmosphere!

Pool

Our indoor, heated pool is used whenever the lake water is too cool for comfortable swim instruction, or when rainy weather forces cancellation of outdoor activities. Thanks to an excellent lighting system complete with emergency back-up, campers are also able to enjoy night-time pool parties & games.

Skydome

Our huge, 6,000 square-foot double gymnasium plays host to our basketball program. Designed with plexi-glass walls that highlight the beautiful mountain scenery, our Skydome features pro-style glass basketball backboards, electronic scoreboard, specially-designed adjustable-height backboards for younger campers, and a 63-foot tennis practice wall.

Thunderdome

The 19,000 square-foot Thunderdome is the largest, all-weather facility of its kind in North American camping. It encloses our new ICE PALACE ice hockey rink, a high adventure rock-climbing centre, and our exciting in-line skate park. The Thunderdome is enclosed in plexi-glass walls, similar to our pool and Skydome. Its well-ventilated design means that the Thunderdome is comfortable even on hot summer days.

...other indoor facilities include our Dance Hall, Performing Arts Centre, Arts & Crafts Centre, Electric Rock Guitar Studio, and of course, the Dining Hall.
