This is the ultimate summer camp combining hockey and beach. Once again last year turned out to be a huge success. This is a One or two week stay which will enable campers to really have time to learn how to SURF, baby! What could be better than the Pro Ambitions Hockey's signature BATTLE camp curriculum at URI's state of the art rink complex every morning and night and being bused to Newport's Second Beach or Narragansett Beach in the afternoon for a surfing lesson. These are small beaches with manageable waves 20 minutes from the URI campus. This camp will be closed at 35 skaters/surfers. Campers can bring their own boards to fit their skill level and body size or rentals of surfboards will be available at the beach for a fee if campers don't want to bring their own board. We will offer short and long board instruction to help campers be well on their way to riding waves by weeks end.
Kim Insalaco is once again featuring her exclusive Pro Ambitions Girls Olympian camps:
Pro Ambitions Hockey, Inc. has taken over the top spot in the girls ice hockey market with US women's Olympic Ice Hockey team member, Kim Insalaco. Kim has worked for Jeff at Pro Ambitions for ten years. She attended the Choate School and went on to be a stand out member of the Ivy League Brown University women's ice hockey team for four years. Kim has made it to the highest level of women's ice hockey celebrating a bronze medal win at the Olympic winter games 2006. Kim is currently the women's ice hockey coach at Cornell University. Last summer was our 2nd successful camp season for our specialty Olympic Hockey Battle Camp at Kents Hill AND University of Rhode Island. They were both sell out and huge success and we are excited to offer two separate one week sessions this year at the Kents Hill School and University of Rhode Island Beach Campus. Kim is big hearted, charismatic, and a highly skilled hockey tactician. She is quite a presence on and off the ice and making quite a name for herself in the world of Division One Women's Collegiate Hockey as a coach.
Pro Ambitions Hockey, Inc. is now celebrating 18 years in business. Former NHL player Jeff Serowik is the founder and president. Training the future of hockey is our business. The boarding and day camps at URI are our best ever.
