ROBOTS-4-U
Summer Address:

The Robots-4-U Summer Camp for Girls and Boys, sessions are a week long (5 days, 4 days July 4th week) and provide a safe and fun learning environment for youth interested in both Robots and Computers. With a great hand’s on approach, each student will be given access to a robotics kit and computers during each camp session. Themes include: Sports, Racing, Rescue, Art, Creative Designs, Bugs and Animals as Robots Build, Designed and Programmed by the campers. Every participant builds their own robot from a robotics Kit that is age and level appropriate, that they use for the week, and return on the last day of camp. Campers share a pool of computers, which are used to program the Robots.
- Age 6 to 8 – Beginner will build 2-4 structures, up to (5) robots programs.
- Age 9 to 13 – Beginners to Intermediate will build & program 6-10 robots.
- Age 14 to 17 – Intermediate, will build, program & test 7 to 10 robots, including custom designs.

Other Information for Girls and Robotics
Science and Technology is typically an area that boys are interested in. We believe that Girls can find Science and Technology as very interesting. This is especially true with Robotics and Sensors. In this camp we give girls the opportunity to explore the Robotics field in a creative manner. We allow girls to drive to areas beyond traditional engineering and try Dynamic Art that utilizes the same robot kits but for moving art projects. Additionally we encourage girls to embrace Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) as great field to learn and explore for future opportunities in College.

Science

The Student of today and Practitioner of tomorrow must be a creative thinker and planner, willing to exercise good judgment to solve problems spanning many aspects of technology. With the technological environment we live in today and its increasing importance in the future, with Computers, Robots, Voice control systems, iPODs, Optical networks and a spectrum of other technologies, it is imperative that we give a student the edge they need to influence their environment.
With a hands on approach, each student will be given access to a robotics kit for the day's session. Each kit typically contains building parts, moving parts; the robots brain (Controller) and a variety of sensors (Touch, Eyes, and Hearing etc.). Challenges like racing, synchronized dancing, traversing a maze, and a variant of battle-bots competition are part of the program. Our knowledgeable team of Engineers and Computer Scientist s are passionate about the world of Robots. They will share their knowledge and passion with your children.
These range from pure Entertainment to programs of progressive levels of Learning and Education in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.), using creative software and learning tools, programming and practical hands-on learning that are available for all ages.
