DescriptionBack to top
Our summer programs focus on the art of living a balanced, creative and fulfilling life.  Our goal is to inspire young people to slowdown, unplug from the chaos of the modern world and learn the art of “being”.  Against the stunning backdrop of southwest France, students will live together in a beautiful restored 200-year-old farmhouse  They will prepare healthy meals together using local organic food of the region, take in ancient medieval villages and visit museums, village fétes and prehistoric art caves.  They’ll go kayaking, zip-lining, rock-climbing, swimming and hiking.  Students wll also spend part of each day recording and interpreting their experience both in sketchbooks and through more finished drawings and paintings on canvas.  Weekdays will include afternoon French lessons for all abilities.  All of these activities will be balanced with time to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures like reading a book, taking pictures, swimming in the pool, playing a game of ping-pong or boules.

We will also visit Albi and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum and Carcassonne a fortified medieval walled city.  The last 2 nights will be spent in Toulouse.  One of the jewels in France’s southwesterly crown.  It will be an unforgettable experience.
