The program’s mission is to bring collegiate and Olympic caliber coaching to the next generation of America’s rowers, right here in Texas! To introduce grade school and junior high school level boys and girls to the Olympic sport of rowing and to gain an appreciation for not only the technical and physical training approaches of collegiate athletes, but the great tradition and team aspects of rowing. Our goal is to advance young athletes’ skills and knowledge of rowing, but to discover their own potential as individual athletes but also members of a team. All of this is done in a fun atmosphere that fosters teamwork and new friendships!
