“Real U” is the camp focus

The ways in which a teen approaches herrelationships and endeavours, are important life skills which are built upon at this week long day camp.  A true awareness of herself and others, and the world around her is a key ingredient to success and is highlighted during the program.  Young women realize their leadership potential while experiencing themselves as part of a bigger picture – one that they can uniquely impact.

RELATIONSHIPS–Connecting with your true self – the “Real U” and with others is an important part of growth and leadership.  The spirit of inclusion and collaboration at Real U camp fosters a young woman’s respect and awareness of the power within themselves and others.

ENDEAVOURS– Having a plan is important – being able to create a plan is essential.  You will learn simple ways to plan for yourself – financially, mentally, and physically, and will start to develop a design for your future that is unique, brilliant, and within reach!

Goal setting, problem solving, visualization, spiritual guidance, and intuition are some of the tools you will develop to help with daily success.

AWARENESS–Being aware of how you feel and how you portray yourself is incorporated into many skill-building activities.  In the process, you become more fully aware of who you are, where you want to go, and how you want to show up in the world.

Fun and engaging daily activities that promote awareness in all areas will include; healthy eating and meal preparation, physical fitness, rest, meditation, and tools for self- discovery and reflection.

LEADERSHIP–Real U offers teen girls a chance to discover their authentic selves and enhance their leadership potential, in ways that are supportive, fun and collaborative.  Different forms of communication are ways for us to show up in the world, and when we find the best way to express ourselves and use it, our true colours shine.

Teens experience leadership and self- expression at camp through journaling, painting, dancing, writing, role play, drama, and through other creative means.

U–Pull it all together as you continue to discover the path of your dreams, and live your true potential.
