Rein Community Service offers unique community service opportunities in Hawaii, California, New Jersey, Costa Rica, USA.  Our participants have different volunteer opportunities, such as: volunteering with children from underserved communities, working at animal shelters, improving the natural environment, helping local schools, and improving community centers.

At Rein Community Service, we have a caring staff, amazing volunteer programs with unique activities and opportunities, and a great group of teen travelers – we have the perfect blend for the safest, most rewarding experience possible!

In California, our participants are housed in a college dormitory in order to get a taste of college living.  In Costa Rica and Hawaii, our volunteers stay in comfortable and amenity-filled hotels.  At Project Costa Rica and Project California, we perform our community service for 4 hours each morning.  Both programs offer exciting opportunities along with community service, as each participant chooses an afternoon elective.   Options include golf lessons, tennis instruction, surfing instruction, Spanish classes, cooking instruction, yoga, guitar lessons, art instruction, and digital photography.  On our Project Hawaii program, our volunteers work during the day and take advantage of the facilities at our hotel in the afternoon.  Evenings are full of fun and enriching cultural activities.

On each program, weekends are reserved for travel to exciting locations.  Project Costa Rica spends one incredible weekend surfing in the beach town of Tamarindo and a second weekend relaxing at the Los Suenos Marriott Resort and visiting beautiful Manuel Antonio National Park.  Project California participants experience a beautiful Palm Springs resort and a fun weekend in Los Angeles.  Project Hawaii travels to the islands of Maui and Oahu, staying at beautiful hotels and doing fabulous activities such as surfing lessons and snorkeling.

Camp #1    Rein Community Service - Project California
Project California offers 3-week and 4-week community service options in Santa Barbara, California.  During the week we stay at the University of California in Santa Barbara, giving our teenagers an exciting taste of college living.  Our participants perform community service in the mornings, working with children from underserved communities, helping to restore the natural environment, caring for animals at local animal shelters, and performing other socially meaningful work.  Three afternoons each week our participants choose a fun and enriching elective such as cooking, tennis, surfing instruction, digital photography, guitar lessons, golf instruction, and yoga.  Evenings offer a variety of fun teen-friendly activities and on weekends we travel to the exciting destinations of Palm Springs and Los Angeles. 

Camp #2    Rein Community Service - Project Hawaii
Project Hawaii is a 25-day community service and cultural immersion program in Hilo, on the Big Island of Hawaii.  During the week we stay at a great, amenity-filled hotel, allowing our teenagers comfortable lodging while they volunteer.   Our participants perform community service working with young children from underserved communities and caring for animals at a local animal shelter.  Evenings combine cultural experiences and fun activities in the local area.  Weekends are spent traveling and seeing other Hawaiian islands such as Maui and Oahu.  Weekend highlights include a visit to Pearl Harbor, private surfing lessons, and snorkeling. 

Camp #3    Rein Community Service - Project Costa Rica
Project Costa Rica offers 14-day and 22-day community service options in the town of La Fortuna, located near the Arenal Volcano in Costa Rica.  During the week we stay at Hotel Los Lagos, a beautiful resort with swimming pools, hot springs, restaurants, and wireless internet.  Our volunteers perform community service working at an orphanage, caring for animals at a wildlife rescue center, helping local elementary schools, and improving a local community center.  Three afternoons each week our participants choose a fun and enriching elective such as cooking, art lessons, guitar lessons, digital photography, Spanish instruction, and yoga.  Other local activities include zip-lining, white-water rafting, evening safari floats, and hikes through the rainforest.  Evenings combine fun teen-oriented activities and weekends are spent traveling to the exciting beach destinations of Tamarindo and Manuel Antonio National Park.

Camp #4    Rein Teen Tours
Rein Teen Tours offers exciting, well-supervised, activity-oriented teen tours for teenagers 13 to 17 years of age.  Choose from a 3, 4, 5 or 6-week teen tour adventure throughout the United States, Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and Europe.  Teenagers choosing Rein Teen Tours come from throughout the United States and from countries around the world, arriving with positive attitudes and anxious to make new friends. Our teen tours are highly structured, ensuring that all of our teens, many of whom have come by themselves, are comfortable within their group by the end of the very first day.

Each day on our teen tours is important.  Enjoy the great outdoors and amazing activities such as white-water rafting, water-skiing, surfing, hiking, bike riding, and alpine sliding.  Visit exciting cities and locations such as Los Angeles, Toronto, San Francisco, Sedona, Orlando, and Seattle.  Take in a major league baseball game, dance at our teen-themed night club, interact with dolphins at our marine experience, and ride the roller coasters at fun amusement parks.  There is always something to look forward to!   

The experienced staff at Rein Teen Tours believes our teen travelers should enjoy the most exciting accommodations in all the areas we visit on your teen tour.  We stay in centrally located hotels, campgrounds, and college dormitories to eliminate unnecessary travel.  Our participants will experience magnificent camping in the Canadian Rockies, tranquil campground settings by the canyons in Utah, and picturesque camping near the rim of the Grand Canyon.  Fun campus stays include popular universities such as University of California Los Angeles, University of Michigan, University of Toronto, and University of Minnesota.  Awesome hotel stays include The Canyons in Park City, Planet Hollywood Resort in Las Vegas, and the Hilton Waikaloa in Hawaii.
