DescriptionBack to top

The Ring of Steel Summer Stunt Academy is a summer camp like no other! Campers come to learn about how to safely practice the art of stage combat and are trained extensively in sword play and stunt work, culminating in a final performance and demonstration at the end of the week. For every new activity introduced, campers are taught the science and history behind them. Activities include: sword play, throwing stars, archery, bullwhip, high falls, falling and rolling (tumbling), flying, zip lines, mini-trampoline, acting games, and developmental games aimed at increasing physical coordination, awareness, and teamwork. Because we accommodate a wide age range, campers are divided into groups according to age and experience. No previous experience is necessary.
The Ring of Steel is a professional-grade theatrical combat troupe that is active throughout the year, and campers are invited to join us for our Fourth of July performance! If you've ever wanted to learn the stunts you see in the movies, develop your physical and mental abilities, or you're just looking to have lots of fun doing really cool stuff, this is your chance!
