A RB Hockey boarding camp experience can transform a player’s game. Our programs offer players the tools to develop their game and reach their potential. Our staff includes players and former players from every level of the sport, from high school and college, to junior A and the pros. After the daily hard work put forth by the skaters, we believe they deserve to have a little bit of fun time which is why we've added some new activities to our line up this year. We will be taking the players to the movies, Having a Pool Party with Cook Out along with a Six Flags trip scheduled for Wednesdays. Thursday night is pizza night, which will be enjoyed while we have our Wii Tournaments on 5 different TV's.

Chowder Cup Camp 1989 - 1992 Birth Year July 19 - July 25 The John Cunniff Chowder Cup, is made up of 80 teams from across the United States and Canada. It is one of the most highly scouted summer tournaments in the Country. Our Chowder cup camp will give players the opportunity to earn a spot on one the two Walpole Express Futures teams. Players born in 1988 or after will have the chance to compete July 23th – 25th in this years 2008 Chowder Cup. Players will compete in an intense week of tryouts in front of Junior A coaches. Following the week of camp the final roster will be posted with the tournament teams following. Junior Chowder Cup Camp 1993/1994 Birth Year July 5 – July 11 Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM) The Junior Chowder Cup, contested each summer, is today the premier national tournament for young men born in 1993 or 1994. Each year, hundreds of players aim to impress scouts and coaches as they vie for the coveted championship. There are 80 teams from across the U.S. competing. Our Junior Chowder Cup AAA 1993/94 Boarding Camp and Junior Chowder Cup Tournament Team try-outs feature 40 players who will battle for a spot on one of the two Walpole Jr. Express teams that will compete in the 2008 Junior Chowder Cup Tournament held July 9 – 11 at Iorio Arena. The teams’ final rosters will be announced on July 8th at the end of the first half of the camp. Each team will be coached by a Junior A Walpole Express Coach. Mini Chowder Cup 1995/1996 Birth Year Only July 12 – July 18 The Mini Chowder Cup is made up of 48 teams. There will be 24 teams in the 95 Division and 24 teams of the 96 Division. Similar to our Junior Chowder cup camp we will have 40 players competing for two Walpole Jr. Express teams. The Mini Chowder cup gives the opportunity for young players to experience a high paced, very competitive tournament. The players will be evaluated all week by our staff as they are put through high speed, up tempo drills. At the conclusion of the week the players will be put on their proper teams and have the opportunity to showcase their talent in the 2008 Mini Chowder Cup. AAA ELITE BOARDING CAMP

This intense six-day camp is strictly for elite players who will be challenged each day by complex drills, fellow elite players and the high expectations of our experienced coaching staff. Drills are designed for athletes who have already mastered the fundamentals. We utilize advanced training techniques, including on-ice over speed resistance training, and off-ice accelerated conditioning geared toward building speed, strength and endurance, to push players to their full potential. We also work on offensive and defensive plays during controlled game situations. This gives players the ability to apply the weeks work in high speed situations. Game Situational Boarding Camps

This camp is one of the player’s favorite! We teach the game of hockey. Our “Game Situation” drills will focus on the Forward and Defenseman aspects of real game play (Defenseman – angling, gap control, net play, support drills, at the point, odd and even man rushes, pinning and checking). (Forwards – winning the battles, attacking the triangle, power moves, tipping, odd and even man rushes, puck protection and checking). These drills will help each player understand the game and teach reaction with confidence. Minimum of 5 hours of ice each day and 1 hour class room talk.
Total Skills Boarding Camps
July 12 – July 17
Our week-long “Total Skills” camp features creative and progressive drills that stress proper skating, shooting, hockey technique. This camp covers offensive and defensive strategies taught through a variety of challenging game-situation drills. Daily off-ice conditioning sessions focus on increasing speed and heightening agility, while chalk talks cover proper positioning.
STICKHANDLING AND SHOOTING CAMP

At RB Hockey’s Stickhandling and Shooting Camp, we focus on the specific stickhandling skills required by forwards and defensemen in order to be effective at these positions. We systematically break down the fundamentals of stickhandling and shooting at the beginning of the week and progresses to high-speed stickhandling, dekeing and shooting. Players will learn to maneuver through many obstacles throughout the week. They will be shown how to keep their balance and maintain their speed while handling a puck. Players will also participate in confrontational drills against players in their age group, making the drills more game-like and reactionary. Throughout the camp, players are closely monitored by our experienced instructors who give direction on improving play in each situation.
GIRLS-ONLY BOARDING CAMPS
July 26 - July 31 and Aug 2 - Aug 7
Are you looking to improve your game while having fun? If so, RB “Girls Only” Boarding Camp is for you. Our week-long summer camps feature creative and progressive drills that stress proper skating, shooting, hockey technique. These intensive camps cover offensive and defensive strategies taught through a variety of challenging game-situation drills. Daily off-ice conditioning sessions focus on increasing speed and heightening agility, while chalk talks cover proper positioning.
These camps will run Sunday-Friday @ the Iorio Arena.
