You are invited to experience a one-of-a-kind summer music program. Held on the campus of Valparaiso University, ROCKWORKS summer day camp offers a rock music experience designed to educate, entertain, inspire and encourage young musicians. An all-original music program, bands work together over the course of the week to write two songs, then perform on the big stage under the lights in our thrilling Friday Night Concert! The path to a successful music program begins with quality instruction and direction. Students work with some of the finest professional musicians and music educators in Chicago and Northwest Indiana, who provide sound teaching principles to reinforce fundamental musicianship skills. WHO CAN ENROLL? ROCKWORKS is open to students ages 9-15. All skill levels welcome, whether you’re an experienced shredder or just getting started! The curriculum of the ROCKWORKS program is designed to provide a rewarding experience to all.
