Our objective in this camp is to show that God works through us in all aspects of our lives, at home, church, school and recreation. Our churches are not just buildings but are the people, and should become integral parts of their communities. There are many ways a church can be "salt of the earth" and this offering of a soccer camp is one way that the Rocky Mountain House First Christian Reformed Church has chosen to do that.

This camp began through the Evangelism Committee of the church, to reach out into the community and draw children and their families to Christ. We often think of Christianity in only spiritual terms, but we are also called to look after our physical selves. Organized sport can be a means by which we accomplish this for our children. Rocky Mountain Christian Soccer Camp will focus on both the physical and spiritual aspects.
