Located on the shores of Lake Champlain and nestled between the Adirondack and Green mountain ranges, UVM offers a breathtaking environment filled with exciting experiences. Known as one of America’s “Greenest” colleges, our Summer Study students and staff take full advantage of the campus and world around them. With its 40 art galleries, 9 theaters, 100+ retail stores, 3 sand beaches, 14 parks, and 13 mile-long lakeside bike trail, Summer Study at Vermont promises to open the doors to an experience of a life time!

Students completing 9th – 12th grade may take stimulating noncredit enrichment classes including the KAPLAN SAT prep course along with a full range of sports, recreational and social activities including weekend trips visiting Mt. Stowe, Ben and Jerry’s Factory, Six Flags Great Escape at Lake George, and an overnight trip to Boston to visit other universities. Summer Study offers students the opportunity to undergo a gradual transition into college life in a "non pressured" summertime atmosphere.
