SUMMER STUDY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF VERMONT is the "Total Pre-collegiate Experience"® located on picturesque Lake Champlain.  SSIV combines academically challenging courses with the sports, recreation, and outdoor adventure available in one of the most beautiful campuses in the northeast.  Students completing 9th – 12th grade may earn college credits and take stimulating noncredit enrichment classes including the KAPLAN SAT prep course along with a full range of sports, recreational and social activities including weekend trips visiting Mt. Stowe, Ben and Jerry’s Factory, Six Flags Great Escape at Lake George, and an overnight trip to Boston to visit other universities.  Summer Study offers students the opportunity to undergo a gradual transition into college life in a "non pressured" summertime atmosphere.
