DescriptionBack to top
Kids: Art & Movement Each week includes two classes; one visual art and one performance art. Hands-on projects and one-on-one instruction help you learn to use your creative energy to see, move and create like an artist. You discover new ways to experiment with your imagination and try out new ideas as you learn the elements of art. Teens: Visual & Applied Art Each weekly workshop includes two classes where professional-artist instructors work with you one-on-one to push your skill level and unlock your creativity as you learn the essentials of both visual and applied art. Sharpen your creative skills with time-tested artistic methods, using your own ideas as you investigate your unique artistic style. The Seattle Academy of Fine Art Youth Programs are dedicated to providing traditional and innovative visual arts education for all youth. We believe early training in the arts transforms an individual's capacity for creativity, compassion and cultural awareness.
