We believe that all children have the gifts and potential to be positive, productive and contributing members of their communities and in the larger world. Sherwood Forest Camp is an independent, not-for-profit [501(c)3] agency that creates healthy, caring communities where children develop character and competence. Children from disadvantaged families, together with children from families of all backgrounds, participate in year round camp programs to learn these essential life skills: to build strong relationships; take personal responsibility; solve problems cooperatively; resolve conflicts peacefully; accept new challenges; be positive leaders through service; and respect all people and our environment.
