DescriptionBack to top

Im Ty Stover, creator of StageQuestIndy. Over the years I have been approached by parents to provide an outlet for young people to theatrically grow in a nurturing environment with serious instruction in what the world of theatre is all about thus the creation of SQ. As a theatre professional for 20+ years I take the growth of the young artist very seriously. I spent many years on the road as a theatrical gypsy going from theatre to theatre and gig to gig, and by doing so was fortunate enough to perform in all 48 of the continental United States. And I was also fortunate to work with a broad spectrum of talent from stars to avocational and professional young people. In the former situation I developed my enjoyment for working with them. During my years living in NYC, I studied at the studios of Endeavor, TVI, The Actors Connection, H-B, Lincoln Center, and McHale-Barone. Ive also studied with the NYCity Opera and with such instructors as Tara Rubin, Marshall W. Mason, Phil Hall, Neil Berg, Michael Unger, Dan Duckworth, & Jessi Klein (Comedy Central).
The progam is designed to focus on the needs of the individual performer as an overall person not just a product. With a firm belief that a well developed leader in life is a leader on stage we focus on self esteem, leadship skills, personal callenges (stretches), and commitment on making the world a better place to be. Though touching lives with performance.
