DescriptionBack to top
Make the most of your summer vacation- spend it with us at Stone Horse Stables!  We are a small scale summer camp offering everything from arts & crafts to riding and swimming.  Our overnight campers stay in our new bunk house, enjoy meals in our home with our family, camp fires, games and horse movies.  Parents and friends can use our 'Pony Express' email system to contact campers, and campers letters will be scanned and 'Pony Expressed' back to friends and family!  (Our Pony Express runs daily).

Each camper will leave here with a Stone Horse Stables 'Camp Memories' keepsake book featuring photos of the activities that went on during the week, campmates, and of course, the horses!  Campers make their own rope halter to keep, help with barn chores, learn basic horse care, braiding and banding, get to paint-a-horse, ride in the arena to modern music, and ride on scenic and challenging trails.  The end of the week is completed with a group trail ride in beautiful Acadia National Park!  No matter what skill level your camper is at we can accommodate.  Everyone is encouraged to work at their own level and pace and above all to just have fun!
