URI's Preparatory Music Program offers 2 summer music programs for young instrumentalists on the Kingston campus. String Week which runs 8am -noon June 26-29, offers small and large ensembles, master classes and guest artists.The cost is $185. Jazz intensive is a full day camp for jazz instrumentalists who are interested in improving their skills regardless of their age. The faculty are internationally known jazz performers and educators.
